We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with E-Mobi, Kenya, in supporting their carbon credit issuance for the groundbreaking e-Truck Corridor Project. This initiative is poised to transform the busy trucking routes between Mombasa (Kenya) and Kampala (Uganda), heralding a new era of sustainable transportation.
Project Context
The Mombasa-Kampala project focuses on introducing electric trucking along this bustling route. The implementation will feature electric trucks, equipped with battery swapping stations strategically placed every 100 km. By leveraging Kenya's renewable energy grid, the project aims to significantly reduce around 300,000 CO2 emissions from traditional diesel-based freight.
